The Feelif company was founded in 2015. Feelif d.o.o. is a high-tech
company with a focus on information systems for the blind and visually
impaired. Our goal is to empower the blind and visually impaired so that
they can easily access information in digital form and become digitally
sighted. Feelif d.o.o. has roots in the well-established Slovenian company 4WEB d.o.o., which is developing web and mobile applications since the year 2000. Our patented technology used by Feelif is a product of our own research and innovation. We have invented a technology that enables the blind to feel shapes on a touch screen. Now we are
using that technology to create various multi-sensory digital content (for museums
and galleries, schools, public spaces, content for everyday use and games) for the blind and visually impaired. As the worldwide first provider of multi-sensory digital educational content and games for the blind and visually impaired we help to enrich their lives all over the world.
Feelif received many awards and recognitions for our innovative technology such
as the Global Champion 2019 on World Summit Awards (WSA), the best European
Social Innovation 2017 and UNESCO listed Feelif among the top 150 innovations
that will change the world for the better. In recent years, we have realized
that our technology is also very interesting for the sighted, so we can say
that Feelif is an excellent inclusive product.

| Description of products and services: |
With our disruptive and inclusive technology, we are boldly discovering unknown fields, each day coming up with new solutions for the blind and visually impaired.
To make use of that technology we have created 4 products:
1. Feelif device: a multimedia device for the blind and visually impaired. Feelif device is a standard tablet on which you put a special grid on top of its touchscreen, and install a special app, which bonds it all together. Using vibrations, sound and speech Feelif signals to a blind person what’s beneath their finger. With Feelif you can feel shapes/geometric functions, draw, learn Braille, exchange knowledge, watch interactive stories, express yourself, play
games, share/sell/buy content.
2. Interactive, inclusive multi-sensory digital content: digital educational content, apps for everyday life and games.
3. Special program called the FeelBook Maker for sighted to create multi-sensory inclusive and interactive digital content for the blind and visually impaired.
4. Feelif Platform: a marketplace which unites all stakeholders: Blind and VI people, teachers, parents, and all others, who want to be involved in creating multi-sensory content.
Blind and VI people get a great learning tool, new and interesting content, easier access to knowledge, and the possibility of their own artistic expression. Teachers improve the quality of their lessons, they can share content that they created with others. Parents give their blind children new opportunities and new possibilities. In the same way as teachers, parents can also participate in content creation and distribution of knowledge. By others, we mean publishers, story writers…, and everyone who is interested in the creation of good inclusive, interactive and multi-sensory content.
