Headquartered in Kranj, Slovenia, we provide a complete traction battery refurbishment service, including on-site battery collection, free diagnostic inspection, refurbishment to restore up to 98% of the original capacity, removal of sediment and deposits from battery cells, electrolyte replacement, capacity testing, and delivery back to the customer.
The cost of refurbishment is approximately 40% of the price of a new battery, with a warranty of up to 18 months. We operate throughout Slovenia and across Europe, including Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Austria, Germany, Italy, and Hungary.

BSI Servis d.o.o. specializes in the refurbishment of lead-acid traction batteries. With extensive technical expertise and many years of experience, we successfully refurbish more than 80% of all batteries, restoring their capacity to 80–100% of the original rated capacity.Refurbishment Process- Each individual battery cell is opened, and sediment and deposits that cause self-discharge and internal short circuits between the plates are thoroughly removed.
- The electrolyte is completely replaced.
- Terminal posts and intercell connectors are serviced and protected against corrosion.
- Battery bolts and fastening components are refurbished.
- The watering system is refurbished and restored to full functionality.
- The battery tray (steel battery container) is refurbished.
- Advanced electronic charging programs are used to perform desulfation, equalization, and battery activation to optimize battery performance.
- Every refurbished battery is supplied with an original capacity test report and a warranty certificate.
