The portrait of the company AUDAX Ltd. The company AUDAX, computer and industrial engineering Ltd., Ljubljana, was established in 1993 with the purpose of modernizing the development of products in Slovenian production companies with the use of modern computer CAD/CAM software and efficient organization of the development process. We cover all development phases of a product: industrial design, construction, analyses with the methods of final elements, production of technical documentation and the preparation for production in all industries, which deal with mechanical construction: mechanical, timber, rubber,... The purpose of modernizing the development process is to get better products, with shorter development time and a lower production price. We use products of world leading producers of software on CAD/CAM/CAE area: Parametric Technology Corp., USA (Pro/ENGINEER, Pro/MECHANICA,Pro/INTRALINK,Pro/DESKTOP,Windchill). Activities: Analysis of current development processes and counselling for more efficient organisation. Counselling about the purchase of software and hardware. Organisation of education in own chambers or at a client. Sale of software. Implementation of software. Maintenance of software. Telephone help with the use of software. Production of projects. Employment: 16 employees, out of this 5 Masters of Science and 6 graduate engineers.
