The company in Šempeter is the MAHLE Group's central development and production
centre for electric drive systems and mechatronics used in hybrid and electric vehicles.
MAHLE plays a pioneering role in the development of electric drive systems and components for electromobility. It is investing rapidly in R&D solutions, prototyping and testing equipment as well as modern production lines for series production. Today, MAHLE already offers a number of solutions in this strategic area of the future, the latest innovation being the drive motor for e-bikes.

In the Auxiliary Electrical Systems programme, we offer actuators and electric motors to drive various mechatronic systems, such as servo-cylinders, refrigeration systems, compressors for air-conditioning and various electric pump drives.
