The advanced Pillow Plate Welding Machine is an exceptionally fast, fully automated and highly flexible solution designed for continuous 24/7 production. Programming requires only a vector drawing containing circles and the outer contour. The system automatically calculates all welding paths, determines the optimal sequence and generates the complete G-code.
During operation, it compensates for welding and feeding deviations in real time. Material feeding, the distance between the clamping jaws, and the position and height of plate crowning can be adjusted individually for every segment with an accuracy of up to 0.01 mm.
The machine can weld the internal pattern, the complete outer perimeter, and a corner or fillet weld between the upper and lower sheets. It is available with a working width of 1,500 or 2,000 mm. Supported sheet combinations range from a 0.6 mm lower and 0.4 mm upper sheet to a 10 mm lower and 6 mm upper sheet.
All critical parameters are monitored at one-millisecond intervals. Power, PWM, weld geometry, beam oscillation, feeding and other process settings can be defined directly in the G-code. Outstanding heat dissipation ensures process stability and reduces deformation. The machine also includes automatic nozzle cleaning, intelligent diagnostics with clear fault-correction instructions, and a preventive maintenance system. The complete software and user interface can be supplied in any language.
