Founder of PUP-Saubermacher d.o.o. sta PUP d.d. from Velenje and Saubermacher Slovenia d.o.o. from Murska Sobota. In 2003, the company started operating independently and developing in the field of waste management. The mandatory commercial public waste management service has been implemented from the outset in eight municipalities: Velenje, Šoštanj, Šmartno ob Paki, Nazarje, Gornji grad, Ljubno, Luče and Solčava. The service is provided to approximately 53000 citizens of Šalek and Zg. Savinja valleys. In addition, there is a well-developed marketing activity for the disposal of waste and secondary raw materials for both industrial and service activities throughout Slovenia.
